If you are in immediate danger

Contact local emergency services right away. If possible, block the abuser in‑app and report to us.

Zero‑tolerance areas

  • Child sexual exploitation (CSAM) — immediate account termination, content deletion, and legal reporting.
  • Credible threats of violence, terror threats, or severe harm.
  • Harassment, stalking, hate speech, bullying, and doxxing.
  • Copyright infringement, digital piracy, and intellectual property theft.
  • Fraud, scams, unauthorized commercial advertising, and impersonation.
  • Palnumber misuse (impersonation or off‑platform deception).

How to protect yourself in Palphone

  • Block & Report: Use in‑app options to block accounts and submit a report against any chat profile or public voice post (add context where possible).
  • Control your profile: Use a non‑identifying name/avatar if you prefer. We do not verify profile info.
  • Secure your device: Use a device lock and Palphone PIN. Keep your backup passphrase private.
  • Be mindful with files and public posts: Files are not E2EE and auto‑delete after download or 7 days. Public voice feed posts are stored permanently until deleted and are audible to anyone on the platform.

Media & Content Moderation

  • Automated image checks on profile & bio images via AWS Rekognition.
  • Manual human review for bio videos.
  • Public Voice Feed Moderation: Community reports and automated moderation tools filter public recordings and text. Any public voice post found violating our community standards, including copyright infringements and unapproved advertisements, will be removed immediately without prior notice.
  • Chats remain private: Files and messages exchanged in private chats are end-to-end encrypted or ephemeral and are not actively scanned by us.

Report handling — SLA (Effective Immediately)

  • Triage: Within 24 hours for safety, abuse, copyright violations, and inappropriate public feed content; faster for imminent harm.
  • Resolution targets:
    • CSAM/Urgent physical harm — as soon as detected (Immediate).
    • Copyright claims & unauthorized ads — within 24 to 48 hours.
    • Harassment/Hate speech/Doxxing — 48–72 hours.
    • Spam/Scams — within 72 hours.
  • Appeals: Target 7 days.

Best‑effort; may vary by volume/jurisdiction.

Law‑enforcement & legal requests

We require valid legal process and will not build backdoors or weaken encryption. Due to E2EE and ephemerality, private message contents are typically unavailable. We may have minimal metadata and file artifacts within the 7‑day undownloaded window. For public voice feeds, we can provide account details and voice post archives subject to proper legal warrants. Contact legal@palphone.com (include jurisdiction, legal basis, and account identifiers). Emergency requests must be clearly marked.

Transparency & Cookies (website)

We use strictly necessary cookies and consent‑based analytics (Google Analytics) where required. Cloudflare may process limited data for performance/security. We plan to publish periodic transparency notes about safety actions and data requests.
